Impact Report

Our Annual Report 2024

I am so proud of our Haitian leadership team, who have demonstrated such resilience and commitment to loving and helping the people of their nation in the name of Jesus. They are creating a new culture and modeling a new way of living and serving people in Haiti.

I just wish that you could see what I get to see on a daily basis. The amazing impact that this ministry, because of your prayers and support, is making on the people and families where we are currently working in Haiti. In one of the absolute worst times in Haitian history, we are seeing thousands of people and families come to realize a new life in Jesus Christ.

  • Our 11 Life-Giving Churches are bringing the truth of God, the hope and salvation of Jesus, and the power and authority of the Holy Spirit
  • Our 9 schools are operating every week, because we will not let this situation rob these kids of a good education
  • Our Medical Care Clinic is one of the only hospitals in the area where poor people can come for all their medical and dental needs, with maternal care and a full laboratory and pharmacy
  • Well drilling in small villages that have no clean drinking water within walking distance of their homes
  • The Good Shepherd Children’s Village, a permanent safe healthy home for 55 abandoned children
  • Started in September is our new Pastors and Leaders School of Ministry, teaching, training, and imparting a higher level of servant leadership skills to those who are leading this revival movement in Haiti

Every Sunday morning, we are feeding over 2,000 church attenders, body and soul, with a simple meal, and life-giving teaching to help them do life, family, and community.

At a time when most missions have closed their doors and left Haiti, New Generation Ministries is not merely surviving, no we are thriving because of you.

Thank you for your faithful support,
Mike Leland
President

Our Mission & Purpose

From the very beginning, Our Mission has been “To come alongside the people of Haiti to help them help themselves attain a sustainable life in Jesus, with a real hope for the future.”

Coming alongside to help them help themselves is a much harder way to do ministry in any foreign country. But if our efforts to help the people of Haiti have any chance of being sustainable when we are gone, it has to be this way. “We are not going to do it for them, we are going to help them do it for themselves.”

Our Purpose is to encourage, teach, and train good Haitian leaders, who will care for their people like Jesus cared for and served His people to liberate them to a new spiritual life. The gospel of Jesus is the unshakable hope that we all need.

Our Purpose is to bring applicable education to every age, in every facet of life to help break the chains of poverty and oppression, that has held the people of Haiti for generations and generations.

Our Purpose is to build sustainable churches, schools, and communities that will thrive in life long after we have passed away. Well drilling, agricultural techniques, educational opportunities, job training, and basic life skills, will give us greater satisfaction and return on our investment for the future of the people of Haiti.

A Word About Impacting Haiti

I would like to paint a picture for you. A picture that at first glance, looks quite hopeless. But when we look closer, we can see real light and life. This is the new life that God is breathing into individuals, families, and whole communities.

The situation in Haiti right now is dire! For so many this is a state of emergency. There are no government services, no police, no power, no gas, and food is difficult to find and not safe to go looking for.

Thousands of people in a dozen villages are desperately depending on your prayers and support through New Generation Ministry in Haiti, to be the shining light in this very dark situation.

We haven’t been a ministry that gives hand-outs, but we do give hand-ups

What all these people are depending on us to do is stay the course, persevere in the storm, and not shrink back from bringing the good news, and the hope of Jesus, in a hopeless-looking situation.

  • Our 11 Life-Giving Churches are bringing the truth of God, the hope and salvation of Jesus, and the power and authority of the Holy Spirit. We are seeing hundreds of new believers and thousands of transformed lives.

  • Our 9 schools are operating every week because we will not let this lawless situation rob these kids of a good education. We are also building confidence and character in these young people.

  • Our Medical Care Clinic is one of the only hospitals in the area where poor people can come for all their medical and dental needs, with maternal care and a full-working laboratory and in-house pharmacy

  • Well drilling in small villages that have no clean drinking water within walking distance of their homes, and high-volume, solar-powered, agricultural wells for crop irrigation, impacting thousands.

  • The Good Shepherd Children’s Village, a permanent safe healthy home for 64 abandoned children. Experiencing the closest thing to family life.

  • Our new Pastors and leaders School of Ministry, teaching, training, and imparting a higher level of skilled, servant leadership, to those who are leading this revival movement in Haiti.

Every Sunday morning, we are feeding well over 2,000 church attenders, their bodies with a simple meal, and their souls with a practical, Life-Giving message to give them hope and help them live a better life, family, and community.

With your help, we have worked hard for the past 16 years to build an infrastructure that will remain strong, even in the most critical circumstances. Circumstances like what we are experiencing right now in Haiti.

Our orphanage, medical clinic, administration office, and our school of ministry, are all powered by solar, and are equipped with Star Link Internet, we are completely independent of any governmental infrastructure in Haiti.

We have a leadership team and an administrative team that is of the highest integrity, solid dedication, and deepest heart for their own people.

Despite these extremely difficult times, we are seeing hundreds of new believers in Jesus. We are making thousands of true disciples who know who they are in Jesus, and that they carry the Kingdom of God everywhere they go and everyone they see. We are seeing and experiencing full-on revivals in small isolated villages that once were only breeding grounds for Voodoo and Witchdoctors. Transforming lost people and dark places into real light and life.

Your prayers and financial support are impacting Haiti in a significant way…
